

Ente Pro Loco Italiane (EPLI) organizes the States General of Social Affairs, to relaunch the activities of new forms of horizontal solidarity, which are increasingly urgent to address the needs of the weakest sections of the population.
At the event, Friday 27 October in Rome, dozens of networks (including Égalité ETS) will participate in a 'social workshop' aimed at illustrating the objectives to be achieved from the point of view of social inclusion, addictions, food sustainability and inclusive sport and forms of violence, in consideration of the data that testify to the dynamism of the transformation underway in the Italian social fabric.
Pro Loco Italiane Aps, a Third Sector Association Network recently registered with RUNTS (the Single Third Sector Register), in addition to the promotion of tangible and intangible assets, dedicates a field of action to social rights, entrusting its leadership to Luca Zarfati, president of Rome Open Lab.
The States General of Social they move from the need to develop new forms of horizontal solidarity with a view to circular exchange thanks to the network concept that Ente Pro Loco Italiane is building in Italy.
The project it is fully part of the #prolocosostenibile2030 path because it focuses its interest on a community intervention to satisfy the UN 2030 Agenda which aims to fight poverty, eliminate hunger and combat climate change, to name just a few.
'Common objectives' means that they concern all countries and all individuals: no one is excluded, nor should they be left behind along the path necessary to bring the world on the path to sustainability and universal accessibility'.
The States General of Social they aim to fully affirm the rights of information, assistance and support for the needs of the most fragile sections of the population, especially from a socio-cultural and social welfare perspective. We must increase activities aimed at protecting and promoting their rights, remaining active in the social fabric, guaranteeing dignity and quality of life for those who live in conditions of lesser cultural opportunity, non-self-sufficiency, social and/or economic.
The goals is to strengthen the culture of solidarity, subsidiarity and social inclusion on Italian territory through the diffusion of behaviors attentive to solidarity and the valorization of diversity.
'Only by applying the true network concept you can build a supportive community. The States General will want to shine a spotlight on the objective needs that come from below by bringing together more Third Sector Bodies that can start a common dialogue to exchange experiences and build relationships', declares Pasquale Ciuleo, national president of Ente Pro Loco Italiane.
The program of the day (see attachment) includes a large series of interventions, comparisons, debates and concludes with the preparation of a final report containing the programmatic document signed by all the organizations present, which will be delivered to the government.

The appointment with the States General of Social Affairs is for Friday 27 October 2023 at the City of the Other Economy in Rome, in Largo Dino Frisullo, from 9 am.
The event has the patronage of the Lazio Region and the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Rome Capital.
