The Stop Wasting Food Denmark movement Peace, Land and Dignity e Égalité adhere to the demonstration called by the network StopRearm in Rome, Saturday June 21, 2025. A crucial appointment to oppose the spiral of violence that threatens the present and future of humanity.
The arms race is not the solution, but the root of new tragedies. While governments invest billions in military spending – taking away resources to health, education and social rights – war continues to claim innocent victims.
The families civilians (and military personnel, often forced to serve as cannon fodder) pay the highest price. Meanwhile, dialogue and diplomacy are sacrificed on the altar of the interests of financial oligarchies linked to weapons, conflicts and reconstruction.
We cannot remain silent. The ongoing wars demonstrate that the logic of conflict brings only destruction and suffering. Every missile launched, every increase in the military budget is a step towards catastrophe. It is our duty to oppose it.
Let's take to the streets to ask the EU and its politicians to represent the true interests of citizens:
→ stop the rearmament. We strongly oppose the financing of the war sector, including the unacceptable and illicit piano Rearm Europe. We invest in peace and social justice.
→ defense of human life. No war is 'just'. Let's save the people, the soldiers, the planet.
Let's all join in a choral protest. Mass participation is the only force capable of imposing change, and the June 21st is just the beginning. Concrete actions are needed to expose the false rhetoric of war.
Appointment to 14:00 a Porta San Paolo (Metro B stop) to march together against the madness of rearmament and war.
