On the occasion of the International Day of Disability, Égalité and Disability Pride Senegal organize a meeting in Genoa - Saturday 4.12.21, 16-18: 30, at the University Library, in via Balbi 40.
Égalité, never stop
Facilitate mobility of people with disabilities is the goal of Smart chair by Égalité, awarded at the Makers' Faire 2020. A concrete project that aspires to find industrial application with a non-profit approach, to offer a cushioned wheelchair at prices close to production costs, combined with an easy-to-attach and release front wheel as well as equipped with an electric motor.
Various other activities of Égalité Onlus are presented by Dario Dongo in the meeting in Genoa. From the Parky tv wiki of our division We Are Parky, for tele-assistance and support to the community of Parkinson's patients, legal and administrative assistance to frail people and / or people with disabilities.
In addition to reports and complaints of practices contrary to the well-being of people with disabilities, Égalité is also engaged in constant public and political awareness activities, also in synergy with other associations. This is the case of the examination to modify the law-delegation for disability, conducted together with tough parents, of which we reported.
Disability Pride Senegal, Italy-Africa
Brotherhood and synergy are the basis of Disability Pride Senegal, the idea of which was born from the meeting of Cheikh A. Tidiane Gueye, for friends Pape, and Dario Dongo. The 14.7.19 was organized like this first joyful manifestation together, in the center of Dakar.
Disability PrideSenegal, in Genoa and Dakar, works together with Égalité also with the aim of bringing the Intelligent Chair to West Africa.

A punch to discrimination

He decides to take action, involves the mayor of Pondedera (Pisa, Tuscany) and activates a fundraiser that allows you to buy and send a van to accompany the disabled to Dakar. And that's just the beginning.
