Food shopping in the era Covid-19 it has become an adventure for many, an impossible mission for some. Here is a questionnaire - to which we ask you to answer - to understand if people with disability and / or chronic illnesses, the elderly and their families are able to obtain the necessary food. And how.
Families with the disabled and the elderly, everything okay with the shopping?
The emergency Covid has put the platforms of ecommerce food, as we have already noted https://www.greatitalianfoodtrade.it/mercati/coronavirus-stress-test-per-i-servizi-di-consegna-della-spesa-online). Some sites go haywire after hours of trying to compose virtual carts, others prevent you from booking delivery for 2-3 weeks.
Égalité has launched an appeal, to the large-scale retail trade (large-scale retail trade) and to the operators of ecommerce in Italy, so that they want to offer a free and priority delivery service as soon as possible to those who cannot go out shopping (disabled) or have to stay at home because they are more vulnerable to illness risks (over-65, immunosuppressed).
La petition which we invite you to sign is found here
The questionnaire to which please answer here below. We will update you soon on the outcome of the search. Let's fight together for the rights of all, thank you!
