Programs, public investments and financial support for private ones, work schedules are needed. Facts not words!
On 3-4.12.20 Disability Pride Network invites all interested parties to participate in its workshops, and in the second edition of Disability Care. With the aim of sharing positive experiences, developing ideas, developing new initiatives. As well as gather up-to-date information on the horizons of research on treatment, aids and rehabilitation.
An open letter to institutions and civil society introduces two days of work. We are no more patient than a society that systematically violates internationally established rules for the protection of the weakest.
have passed from the Italian law for the removal of architectural barriers (law 41/1986), 21 from that on job placement (law 82/99), 14 from the adoption of UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). But most of the related prescriptions are still unknown today, in the prehistory of the civilization in which we live. And the time of pietism has passed, we must now take action.
The workshops of the Disability Pride Network are officially inaugurated on 3.12.20 Three Working Groups (WG) thus launch a series of activities, to be developed in 2021, to examine and address the issues relating to:
- rights of people with disabilities, what challenges for the future,
- LEA, Essential Levels of Assistance,
- accessibility, universal usability, women empowerment of people with disabilities.
Following, from 18 pm, collective debate and setting up of working tables for the priorities to be developed in 30.

Disability Care, at its second meeting annual (v. previous article), offers an important opportunity for comparison with the scientific community engaged in the fields of interest. Technological innovation, health sustainability, biological regeneration, medical rehabilitation, early prevention, accurate diagnosis and appropriate therapies.
The horizons of research of interest for the disabled community, and the community in general, are numerous. We have regard to epidemiology, socio-sanitary impact of disabilities, new LEAs. And above all to clinical trials and practices, molecular regeneration and stem cells. Innovative technologies (Information and Assistive Technology, IAT) and new rehabilitation methods, Bio & NeuroInformatics, Brain Computer (Special), Interfaces, neural networks and artificial intelligence, robotics and exoskeletons, virtual and augmented reality.
Events are organized in webinar mode, on the initiative and with the patronage of:
