Due webinar on neuroscience are organized on 16-17.11.20. On the occasion of the 5th international meeting of Neurospines - regeneration and rehabilitation in spinal and brain injuries - and of the 9th workshop National Institute of NeuroInformatics. Namely artificial intelligence, neurorobotics, BCI and teleneurology.
Events are organized by ITIM (Italian association of Telemedicine and Informatica Medica), whose president Francesco Sicurello deserves the credit for involving the protagonists of international research on cures and treatments of spinal and brain injuries. Beside him:
- Donatella Bonaiuti, president of SIMFeR (Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine),
- Angela Colantonio, Director of the Rehabilitation Institute at the University of Toronto,
- Wojciech Glinkowski, president of the Telemedicine Society of Poland (CoE TeleOrto, MUW. Cabinet Lekarski, Poland),
- Antonio Oliviero, neurologist, director of the Laboratory of the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha Albacete (SESCAM), National Hospital for Paraplegics, Toledo (Spain).
Doctors and researchers in bioengineering and neurorehabilitation, they will present the state of the art and perspectives in different fields of interest. Molecular mechanisms, stem cells, magnetic and laser therapy, electrostimulation, molecular and genomic databases.
La next generation technology is oriented on bioinformatics and neuroinformatics, brain-computer interfaces, neural networks and neural computing. As well as on AI (Artificial Intelligence.), virtual brain and augmented reality. And so machine learning algorithm , neurorehabilitation and robotics, neuro-bioengineering, sensors, devices, IoT, telemedicine and tele-rehabilitation. In addition to the exoskeletons and the Smart Chair.
Participation to the two webinar Neurospine and NeuroInformatica is free and open to all. The program is available here.
